Bizarre Lineage Beginner's Guide — Everything You Need to Know

New to Bizarre Lineage? This guide covers everything you need to start strong in this JoJo-inspired Roblox RPG.

Getting Started

When you first join Bizarre Lineage, you'll spawn in Morioh Cho. Talk to the Receptionist NPC to start the tutorial, which teaches you the basics of combat and movement.

Controls & Keybinds

Master these controls early — they're essential for both PvE and PvP:

  • WASD — Movement
  • M1 / M2 — Light Attack / Heavy Attack
  • F — Block (most important survival tool)
  • Q — Dash
  • G — Evade
  • E, R, Z, X, C, V — Stand Abilities
  • TAB — Summon/Dismiss Stand
  • H — Stand Ultimate (after Awakening)
  • M — Open Menu

You can rebind any key in the Settings menu at any time.

Your First Stand

You'll get your first Stand by using a Stand Arrow, which you receive from early story quests. Stand Arrows grant a random Stand based on rarity odds — from Common to Mythical.

Don't worry too much about your first roll. You can always reroll later with more Stand Arrows. Just use whatever you get and start leveling up.

Stats Priority

Bizarre Lineage has 6 stats. Here's how to prioritize:

  1. Health — Always invest here first for survivability
  2. Destructive Power — If you're using a Stand-focused build
  3. Strength — If you prefer physical/melee combat
  4. Power — For Sub-Ability damage
  5. Destructive Energy — For Stand Special Abilities
  6. Weapon — Only if running a weapon build

Tip: Don't spread your points evenly. Focus on Health + one main damage stat for maximum effectiveness.

Unlock Hamon First

Hamon is the recommended starting Sub-Ability. Complete the Ancient Ghost questline to unlock it. Hamon provides passive HP regeneration that helps enormously in early PvE and PvP encounters.

Early Progression Tips

  1. Complete the tutorial for starter rewards
  2. Redeem any available codes from our codes page
  3. Get your first Stand and start training Conjuration
  4. Unlock Hamon through the Ancient Ghost quest
  5. Learn a Fighting Style (Boxing at the Gym, or Kendo at Kame Yu Market)
  6. Explore Morioh and complete NPC quests for XP and items
